This service replaces the previous Independent Complaints Advocacy Service (ICAS) and will continue to be delivered by the Carers Federation Ltd, who has over eleven years experience of supporting people in Merseyside and Cheshire with NHS complaints.

The Gateway Centre is a fully accessible venue with level access to all ground floor Conference Suites and a full sized lift with voice control to all first floor suites. The main entrance to the centre has a gentle slope from the doors to the reception desk. The main front doors are fully automatic and the reception area has a hearing loop system. Adaptive Toilets are situated on the first and ground floors. All internal signage are tactile and all staff have had disability awareness training.
