Carers Federation Ltd is a national charity and Company Limited by Guarantee established in 1992 to empower carers, the people for whom they care and the wider community. The charity is managed by a Board of Trustees elected by our membership.
Our Action for Young Carers service helps young people aged 5-18 to deal with the emotional, practical and physical pressures which come with life as a young carer. We are looking to recruit a confident, conscientious and enthusiastic individual with previous experience of working with children to join our team in Nottingham.
We are seeking an Assessor to support with the delivery of our independent advocacy qualifications training programmes across the North and Midlands.
Over the last eight years, Carers Federation has developed an excellent reputation in supporting independent advocates to be qualified as IMCAs, IMHAs, Care Act advocates, and generic advocates. Our success has led to greater demand for our services and has led to this exciting opportunity.
