The University of Law Achieves Quality Standard in Carer Support Accreditation

We’re delighted to celebrate The University of Law’s achievement of the Quality Standard in Carer Support (QSCS) through the Driving Change in Higher Education project.

This accreditation recognises The University of Law’s commitment to identifying, understanding and supporting students who balance their studies alongside caring responsibilities. By listening to carers and embedding support across the institution, the University has demonstrated its dedication to creating an environment where student carers can succeed and thrive.

Abi Pritch-Williams, Access and Student Lifecycle Lead at The University of Law, said:

“We recognise the students in our community who balance their studies with caring responsibilities, and we have amplified their voices across the University to ensure greater awareness, understanding, and have increased the support available.”

It is encouraging to see universities taking meaningful action to improve outcomes for student carers and ensure they have access to the support they need throughout their educational journey.

Carers Federation is proud to continue delivering the Quality Standard in Carer Support in partnership with Learning and Work Institute, with support from The National Lottery Community Fund.
