Alzheimer’s Society, Information Programme for South Asian families Caring for someone with Dementia

Do you look after someone with dementia or memory difficulties? Information and support is available for South Asian families via the the information Programme. Idea Nottingham (Improving Dementia Education and Awareness)

The Improving Dementia  Education and Awareness website idea.nottingham.ac.uk  is a free online resource aimed at improving the care and quality of life for people with Dementia, providing quality resources about Dementia. Idea supports accredited training via online and face to face courses. DWP Digital – Carers Department of Works and Pensions Twitter Account

The DWP Digital – Carers Twitter page https://twitter.com/carersDWP  is encouraging carers to claim Carers Allowance.  If you care for someone for 35+ hours a week you could be eligible claim Carers Allowance.  You can do this 24 hrs a day 7 days a week by visiting:  https://www.gov.uk/carers-allowance/how-to-claim If you not eligible to claim Carers Allowance DWP Digital – Carers Department of Works and Pensions Twitter Account
