The Nottingham Primary Health Wellbeing & Recovery College is an exciting new healthcare provision for the residents of Nottingham City.
The college will offer a range of recovery focused educational courses aimed at supporting people in recognizing their potential, through self-management, to deal with the emotional health challenges they experience and to achieve the things they want to in life. Courses are friendly and welcoming and will be co-delivered by staff and volunteers who are living with emotional health issues – who are called Peer Trainers, as well as professional tutors. The courses offer students opportunities to gain understanding of their emotional health challenges, the journey of recovery and the hope that taking control and self-management can bring.
Working in partnership with Central College Nottingham and Nottingham City Council Libraries, courses will be delivered in 4 Community Library venues in Aspley, Bulwell, Clifton and Radford, as well as a campus in Mapperley.
The courses currently on offer include:
Anxiety Management
Stress Management
Looking After Yourself Mindfully

Your Wellness Plan
Taking your Next Steps
Getting a Good Night Sleep
