FIRST AID FOR UNPAID CARERS

The St John Ambulance carers support programme will give unpaid carers, caring for a relative, friend or young person  who is frail, ill or disabled the first aid skills needed to look after someone.  All of their training is delivered by dedicated and experienced trainers; leaving those trained with confidence to do the right thing FIRST AID FOR UNPAID CARERS

Researchers at De Montfort University are looking at how to support people with heart failure and their family caregivers better.  In particular they want to try offering ‘mindfulness’ sessions to give people new Do you care for a family member with heart failure? Alzheimer’s Society, Information Programme for South Asian families Caring for someone with Dementia
