Carers Survey – Whats Important to You!

Nottingham City Council and NHS Nottingham City Clinical Commissioning Group are asking carers to complete a short survey on how carers find out information and what’s important to them in future services. Carers Network -Secure Social Networking Site available to all Carers Federation registered carers

**Carers Support 24:7** Sign up for the Carers Federation Carers Social Network The Carers Network is where local carers can offer one another peer support 24:7, get advice and information from one another and from our support workers.  You can also share stories and experiences and share information on local services and events and invite Carers Network -Secure Social Networking Site available to all Carers Federation registered carers

NHS Nottingham North & East CCG have commissioned Carers Federation to deliver a new service from 1st September- Take a look  

Register As A Carer With Your GP

If you are an unpaid carer ( this includes if you are in receipt of Carers Allowance) then there are lots of benefits to letting your GP know. These include; Many GP practices now have a designated ‘Carers Champion’ which you can access Practice staff will be aware of your caring role Signposting to useful information Register As A Carer With Your GP

Free Carers Respite Service for Nottingham City Residents

Free short term respite available for Nottingham City carers 18+ who are caring for someone not in receipt of Adult Social Care. For more information or to access the service you can call the Carers First Team at the Carers Federation on 0115 9629 369 – Respite will be provided by NCHA Respite Leaflet

New Rushcliffe Carers Service

Rushcliffe CCG have commissioned a new service, in partnership and, to be delivered by Carers Federation across Rushcliffe. Staring from 1st March 2015 we will be working alongside your Rushcliffe GP practice, doctors, staff and carers champions to keep carers informed of their rights and support them in their caring roles. Look out for us New Rushcliffe Carers Service
