This course has been developed by experienced mentoring trainers and service managers who have been recruiting, training and supporting volunteer and peer mentors for over 10 years and worked with a wide range of service users, including Young Adult Carers and Prisoners.

The course is split into 8 topics

  • What Do You Hope to Achieve?

Participants have up to 6 months to complete the course, and you can access online support to answer any questions you may have during this time. At the end of the course there is a short assignment, on completion of which you will be awarded a certificate.
