Future Pulse Standards for Health Services

Health Services in Nottingham can work toward two different accreditations to help make their setting more ‘child and young person friendly’.  Services who successfully complete the standards are able to display the relevant ‘Future Pulse’ logo sticker in their window to evidence their achievement.

You're welcome kitemark     15 steps kitemark

The ‘You’re Welcome’ accreditation was developed with young people by the Department of Health.  The standard consists of a ten point criteria, services are supported to implement a development plan and can access bespoke training to meet the needs of staff and support delivery.  Services who work toward the standard are ‘mystery shopped’ by the Future Pulse team of young volunteers, findings are used to promote accessibility.

The ’15 Steps’ is a patient feed back tool originally developed by the NHS.  Future Pulse have adapted this resource to make it more ‘young person friendly’.  Health services who  engage in the challenge generate feed back from patients under the age of 25.  Services are expected to respond to any recommendations and make appropriate adaptations in order to be awarded the standard.
