Autism East Midlands offer services to families affected by autism and can provide support in the form of telephone advice, counselling, access to a play and leisure activity programme for children and young people and to training workshops for parents and professionals.  We also provide a number of residential and day services for young people and adults, as well as supported living and outreach services. Head Injury

Headway Headway House in Nottingham was founded in 1996 by carers and people with brain injuries. The centre provides a diverse range of social, leisure and educational activities. The outreach service offers practical support to families, supporting people to come to terms with the change in lifestyle following brain injury.

Cancer Care

Maggies Nottingham Maggie’s offers free practical, emotional and emotional support to people with cancer and their families and friends.  Help is offered freely to anyone with any type  of cancer. Simply drop in anytime they are based at Nottingham City Hospital NG5 1PH or call 0115 924 6210

Nottingham Cancer Patients Support Group This group meets at  6pm in ´A´ Floor CLASSROOM – SCHOOL OF NURSING, QUEEN´S MEDICAL CENTRE NOTTINGHAM. All meetings and refreshments are free of charge.
The aim of these monthly meetings is to provide an opportunity for people affected by cancer, family carers, their friends and healthcare professionals involved in providing services to people with cancer, to meet in a friendly, supported, social setting, to share their knowledge, skills and experience in a positive way, whilst seeking to promote maximum health and well-being.
