Regents House supports anyone who is affected by someone else’s substance misuse, including prescription drugs, solvents and alcohol as well as illicit drugs.
We offer a range of services for parents, carers and professionals who want to find out more about drug or alcohol misuse, and the associated issues.
A comprehensive range of drug information is available to help carers understand different drugs, their effects, the problems relating to drug use and treatment options.
Face to face support with a dedicated family support worker, either at the family home or in other appropriate locations.
Regents House facilitates groups for carers of drug and alcohol users in various locations across Nottingham. There are also groups specifically for parents of young people using drugs, and for carers of cannabis users. Support groups provide an opportunity for carers to meet and share their concerns with other people experiencing similar problems.
We work closely with other agencies and can offer additional support in accessing services specific to individual needs.
