Certificate in Independent Advocacy - Costs

Note that payment of course fees must be received at least five working days before a course starts in order to guarantee your place. We realise that budgets are tight so we can also offer you the chance to pay the cost of the course in instalments.

Full course - 4 core modules (301-304) & specialist module (308) (6 Days)
Fee - £1,499

What your fee includes:
The fee for all courses includes the cost of registration and certification with City & Guilds, all six days of training courses, course materials and assessor/verifier costs. Also included in the fee for all courses are refreshments and light lunches during the course, but not travel or accommodation.

Full course - 4 core modules (301-304) & specialist module (306) (7 Days)

The fee for all courses includes the cost of registration and certification with City & Guilds, all seven days of training courses, course materials and assessor/verifier costs. Also included in the fee for all courses are refreshments and light lunches during the course, but not travel or accommodation.

Full course - 4 core modules (301-304) & specialist module (305) (8 Days)

The fee for all courses includes the cost of registration and certification with City & Guilds, all eight days of training courses, course materials and assessor/verifier costs. Core modules 301, 302, 303 & 304 only (4 days)

What your fee includes:
This option is if you wish to undertake the core modules only without doing the specialist modules. Please note that this will not gain you the Certificate in Independent Advocacy but will gain you core unit accreditation. Your fee for the core modules includes the cost of four days of training courses, course materials and refreshments and light lunches during the course. It also includes assessor/verifier costs for the additional specialist module. Travel and accommodation are not included.

Specialist modules 305 (IMCA) only (4 days)
Fee - £649

What your fee includes:
This option is if you wish to undertake a specialist module only without doing the core modules. Please note that this will not gain you the Certificate in Independent Advocacy but will gain you specialist unit accreditation. Your fee for the specialist course includes the cost of four days of training courses, course materials and refreshments and light lunches during the course. It also includes assessor/verifier costs for the additional specialist module. Travel and accommodation are not included.

Specialist modules 306 (IMHA) only (3 days)
Fee - £599

What your fee includes:
This option is if you wish to undertake a specialist module only without doing the core modules. Please note that this will not gain you the Certificate in Independent Advocacy but will gain you specialist unit accreditation. Your fee for the specialist course includes the cost of three days of training courses, course materials and refreshments and light lunches during the course. It also includes assessor/verifier costs for the additional specialist module. Travel and accommodation are not included.

Specialist modules 308 (Adults) and 310 (DOLS) only (2 days)
Fee - £499

What your fee includes:
This option is if you wish to undertake a specialist module only without doing the core modules. Please note that this will not gain you the Certificate in Independent Advocacy but will gain you specialist unit accreditation. Your fee for the specialist course includes the cost of two days of training courses, course materials and refreshments and light lunches during the course. It also includes assessor/verifier costs for the additional specialist module. Travel and accommodation are not included.

Individual Core Modules – 301, 302, 303 & 304 (1 day each)

What your fee includes:
The fee includes the cost of registration and certification with City & Guilds, the training course, course materials and assessor/verifier costs. Also included in the fee for all courses are refreshments and light lunches - but not travel or accommodation.

Course cancellation
Please note that we reserve the right to cancel any course with no less than 10 working days' notice, without liability for any consequential or indirect loss. In this case, we will let you know in writing (by letter or by email) and offer to cancel or transfer your booking with no charge.

Booking cancellation
If you let us know in writing more than 15 working days before your course (by letter or by email), we can cancel your booking or transfer it to an alternative course. In this case we will invoice you for an administration charge of 10% of the course fee, or we will deduct this from your refund.

We cannot cancel your booking or transfer it to an alternative course if you inform us less than 15 days before the course is due to start. In this case, the full fee for the course will remain payable and no refund will be made. If for any reason you fail to attend a course that you have booked, the full fee for the course will remain payable and no refund will be made.
