NHS Advocacy is now provided by Merseyside & Cheshire Independent Complaints Advocacy in the following local authority areas:-

  • Sefton 
  • Liverpool 
  • Knowsley 
  • Wirral 
  • Cheshire East 
  • Cheshire West with Chester 
  • Halton 
  • St Helens 
  • Warrington 

This service replaces the previous Independent Complaints Advocacy Service (ICAS) and will continue to be delivered by the Carers Federation Ltd, who has over seven years experience of supporting people in Merseyside & Cheshire with NHS complaints.

Parking 

Disabled access 
The Gateway Centre is a fully accessible venue with level access to all ground floor Conference Suites and a full sized lift with voice control to all first floor suites. The main entrance to the centre has a gentle slope from the doors to the reception desk. The main front doors are fully automatic and the reception area has a hearing loop system. Adaptive Toilets are situated on the first and ground floors. All internal signage are tactile and all staff have had disability awareness training.

PRIORITY CAR PARKING 
The Gateway Conference Centre has Priority Car parking available at The Liner Hotel which is just 2 minutes walk from the Centre on the corner of Lord Nelson Street and St Vincent Way. From Norton Street, continue across the traffic lights with London Road and turn first right at the lights then take the car park entrance on the left hand side. Priority Spaces must be booked in advance. For full directions to the Liner Hotel please visit: www.theliner.co.uk The cost of this is £5 per car when booked with Gateway. Receipts are available from Gateway Reception.
