Current Activities

Carers Federation are currently partner in an exciting new project that will employ peer support workers for persons experiencing mental health difficulties and their Carers, across Nottinghamshire. The project, funded by The Health Foundation and Dr Julie Repper, at the Institute of Mental Health, is currently being finalized before roll out – watch this space for further details.

Dr Emma Richardson will be speaking in March at St Catherine’s College, Oxford University, about her research investigating how best to involve Carers and Service Users from Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) communities in research. For further details, see the January newsletter.
