Staff from ICAS create awareness of the service in the heart of Sheffield City Centre.

The 2010-11 Carers Federation Annual Report has been published following the AGM on 25th November.

Action For Young Carers in Nottingham has launched a new site on donation website www.localgiving.com

Action for Young Carers (AYC) received the highest amount of votes in the Nottingham & East area, and as such will be awarded £2000.

Action for Young Carers has been selected by Waitrose Community Matters to be included in this months £1000 grant giveaway.

A series of events are being held for Carers Week at our new carers centre in Nottingham.

On Monday 13th June, the Carers Federation will be welcoming people to the official opening of its new Centre, Christoper Cargill House, 21-23 Pelham Road, Nottingham NG5 1AP. Christopher Cargill, a young man after whom the building is named, will mark the official opening with a balloon launch at 12 noon.

Adult Carer Support has been informed our organisation has been  successfully entered into the "Cash for your Community 2011" shortlist. We are one of 300 organisations with a guaranteed share of the £35,000 dream fund. It is down to us how much of the money comes our way.
